MICROSOFT DEFENDER
Every device is a doorway. Every inbox is a front door.
You almost certainly already license Microsoft Defender. Lumeplex designs, configures and tunes Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Office 365 so they work as one connected security system, then hands your team the documentation and skills to run it.
THE PROBLEM
More than default settings
Most businesses on Microsoft 365 Business Premium or E5 switched Defender on years ago and never went back. The result is a licensed product running on defaults: partial onboarding, generic policies, a flood of alerts nobody triages, and no clear picture of which devices or mailboxes are actually at risk.
Defender is not a set of switches to flip. It is a connected system where endpoint signals, email signals and identity signals feed one investigation. When it’s designed that way, threats get contained automatically and your IT team sees a handful of meaningful alerts instead of hundreds of noisy ones.

OUR DEFENDER SERVICES
Two Defender implementations
Each project follows the same discipline: validate prerequisites, design on paper, build, pilot, sign off, then transfer knowledge. Take one or both; the designs are built to work together.
Defender for Endpoint implementation
If you have Business Premium or E5, you already own Defender for Endpoint — and it is probably running with the settings it shipped with. This project turns it into a tuned, connected layer of protection. Our process: confirm prerequisites, run a discovery session, produce the technical design, build and configure, pilot onboarding of up to 25 devices, sign-off, then knowledge transfer with an initialization guide, design document, as-built documentation and a two-hour session for your team. Ideal for organizations with 50–1,000 devices across Windows, macOS and mobile.

Defender for Office 365 implementation
Defender for Office 365 protects the mailbox, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive, but only when it’s configured deliberately. We deliver it in five steps: Discovery (your mail flow, use cases and dependencies), Design (a written configuration you approve), Implementation (deployed in your tenant), Testing (validated against real users and phishing simulations) and Knowledge (as-built documentation, an email-authentication guide, three one-hour sessions, helpdesk training and end-user reporting guidance). Suits any organization on Business Premium, E3 with the Defender add-on, or E5 that still runs the default policies.

Outcomes you can expect
When the project closes, this is what has changed.
Get the protection you’re already paying for
Our team has designed and operated Defender in healthcare, legal and financial-services environments where a missed alert is a reportable event. We bring that standard to growing businesses in Dallas–Fort Worth and nationwide, with business-hours support and defined response SLAs after go-live.
