Essential requires Business Premium; Advanced requires E3 or E5. If you are unsure what you own, we will review your tenant and recommend the right plan before you commit.

Your team keeps ownership of the day-to-day and local knowledge, while Lumeplex handles Defender monitoring, response, policy design and governance. We share reporting, escalation paths and documentation so both sides always know who is doing what.

Onboarding typically begins within ten business days of signing. The Visibility & Assessment phase starts immediately, and the first protective controls — such as mandatory MFA and Defender alert monitoring — are usually active within the first few weeks, well before the full rollout is complete.

Essential is the right choice if you need strong identity and device fundamentals, visibility and monitoring without complexity. Advanced suits organizations that must reduce risk proactively, protect sensitive data and satisfy compliance or cyber-insurance requirements. Yes. Every environment is different, so we tailor policies, response procedures and reporting to your security maturity, industry and business goals. Additional services such as Microsoft Purview data protection, vulnerability management, security awareness training and Data Security for AI can be added to either tier.

Microsoft Defender’s automated investigation and remediation continues to isolate devices, quarantine files and block malicious sign-ins on its own, regardless of the time. Our engineers review everything that occurred at the start of the next business day and respond within the SLA for that alert’s severity. Extended-hours coverage can be scoped on request.
